Section outline

    • Prior knowledge, at the level of the Swiss Vocational Baccalaureate, orientation "Engineering, Architecture, Life Sciences", is required for the Mathematics modules in the technical bachelor's degree programmes (Civil Engineering, Computational and Data Science, Mobile Robotics, Photonics) of the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons.

This Moodle course is meant for you if you are interested in the programmes mentioned above. Test problems are aimed at showing whether you already meet the prerequisites. Recommended digital materials on the Internet are supposed to help you brush up on any missing prior knowledge.
    • Here you can find test problems to the topics Terms, Sets, Equations, Geometry/Trigonometry, Functions, and Vectors. Concretely, you are expected to be able to solve the test problems without aids (calculator, formulary, etc.). Solving the test problems will take you about 2 to 3 hours.

Both short and long answers to the test problems are available.

If you are not able to solve the test problems, and if you do not understand the given answers, we recommend you the Online Mathematics Bridging Course Plus (OMB+) on the Internet (see below).

    • Work through the indicated parts for the topics Terms, Sets, Equations, Geometry/Trigonometry, Functions, and Vectors.
